At City Church Melissa, we believe the local church is family, not an event or a program. There's laughter, tears, hugs, high fives, and serious conversations about life, marriage, kids, peer pressure, and what it looks like to live as Christ at every stage of life. We're excited to meet you!
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you're considering joining us this Sunday, wonderful! We understand that visiting a new church can often be a little intimidating, especially if you have kids, and we want to make your visit as stress-free as possible.
Here's what you can expect:
Getting Here
We're located on a hilltop in what was once a local winery and vineyard.
The first person you speak to will be one of our well-caffeinated parking volunteers. If you'll tell them you're new, they'll do their best to get you a spot close to the front doors.
Kids and Littles Checkin
The building has two wings with the sanctuary in the middle. If you have Littles (birth - PreK), they'll be on the left side of the front door, and if you have Kids (Kinder - 5th Grade), head in the main doors and turn right.
Grab Your Coffee and a Seat
When you walk in the main doors, you'll enter our cafe area. George's Coffee serves coffee and pastries, and you'll see for yourself the smiles as we reconnect with each other before the service.
When you've checked in your kids or littles, we'll help you find a seat. The sanctuary is through the doors to your left.
It's our prayer that we'll handle the logistics well enough that you won't feel rushed as worship begins, and you'll be able to experience the presence of God as we worship Him with music and hear from His Word.
