City Church Melissa is a community of people growing in submission to the lordship of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God, the good of the city, and the hope of the world. This mission is not age-specific or limited to adults. In fact, throughout history almost every major movement has begun with the youth. It is our prayer that God will use His Word and Spirit to create a movement in Melissa that will change the world for His Glory.

City Church Students meet on Wednesday Nights

Middle school meets from 6:30-8pm
High school meets from 6:30-8:30pm 

What to Expect:

If it’s your first time joining us, we encourage you to park in lot B and have both the parent and student come inside! We want to intentionally connect with both of you.

A typical Wednesday night looks like this:

Each Wednesday we take over the ENTIRE church building. We play a large group game, have George's Coffee on site with snacks and drinks (bring $1-2 to buy a snack or drink!), and then we read the Bible together with our peers. After that, we listen to an expository sermon and then spend the rest of the night in small groups. Our small groups are divided by grade and gender and our led by our amazing adult small group leaders. 

On Sunday mornings we desire to see students intentionally engage with the larger church body. We encourage students to attend the main worship gathering and then serve in an area of their choosing. We have students serving in every ministry opportunity we offer!
