Since City Church Melissa’s first service, we’ve seen God’s hand guiding and providing for us. From those first days in 2014 setting up in the gym of what is now the 6th Grade Center to the purchase of the current space and the beautiful surrounding vineyards, God has been so faithful to City Church!

As Melissa has grown, He’s brought so many faithful believers (like you!) to City Church, even outpacing our best estimates of what growth might look like. As you’ve no doubt noticed, we’re almost out of space just over a year into our new home on Vineyard Hill.

Several weeks ago, our Elders and Trustees presented a vision they’ve discussed and prayed over for some time. You can watch that here.

We’re confident in the direction that the Lord is leading us and it will require the generosity and sacrifice of His people to see this vision become a reality. As we have seen through our study in the book of Joshua, when God calls his people to move He is already there. What He asks is for His people to obediently and faithfully trust that He has already gone ahead of them. We get to be a part of this as we trust in His providence and give faithfully and sacrificially.

This will help our Elders and Trustees budget and plan for the coming years, and know just how fast we can pursue the vision of our discipling and planting church in Melissa.
