Women's Ministry
City Church Women’s Ministry exists to equip women to know God and his deep love for them, to be transformed by the truth of God’s Word, to be renewed by his boundless grace and limitless mercy, and to steward their gifts for the glory of God and the good of others and the hope of the world.
GIRLS' GETAWAY
Ladies join us for our Girls Getaway Thursday, April 18th - Sunday, April 21st at CYJ Retreat Center in Wimberley, TX.
This is a wonderful chance for you to connect with other women from our church and draw near to the Lord away from your normal weekend schedules. Enjoy shopping, hiking, lakes, the beautiful Texas hill country and simply fellowship together with other women of City Church.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY
Ladies, join us Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00a! We will be studying Psalm 119 together.
Childcare will be provided for children 6 and under.
LADIES EVENING BIBLE STUDY
Come to the WELL (Ladies Tuesday Night Bible Study)! The WELL stands for Women Equipped and Living Loved. We are diving into community this semester by coming together every Tuesday night from 6:30p-8:00p for worship, Bible Study, and fellowship.
FIGHT CLUBS
Fight Clubs are the primary means of adult small group discipleship at City Church Melissa. A Fight Club is simply a small group of people (approx. 3-5) who fight together and spur each other on to grow in submission to the leadership of Jesus Christ. We fight sin, fight for one another and fight to grow in our love and understanding of the gospel.
Fight Clubs start with a few people who enjoy fellowship together and commit to regularly meeting together to open God's word. If you aren't in a Fight Club today, look around, and you see who God has already placed in your life as a friend and ask them to join you. You might find these relationships in Men's or Women's Bible Studies on a team you serve with on Sunday mornings or in your neighborhood. Marriage Ministry
RECONNECT, REIGNITE, AND RESURRECT YOUR MARRIAGE
Whether your marriage needs to be reignited, or be completely resurrected, re|engage is a safe place for couples to reconnect. This ministry offers hope to marriages by helping couples move toward oneness through stories of grace, teaching, and small groups. Re|engage is a marriage enrichment program; whether couples are struggling to get along, have broken relationships, or simply want to grow closer together, marriages in any condition can benefit.
Silver Servants
A ministry for men and women in their 60s and above to study the Bible, be disciples, make disciples, and meet other Christ followers.
